  • I founded O’Driscoll Educational & Child Psychology to make a difference and offer support to young people and adults with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

    • Doctorate in Educational, Child and Adolescent Psychology (DECAP) from Queen’s University Belfast.

    • Associate Fellow and Chartered Psychologist with the British Psychological Society (BPS).

    • Registered Psychologist with the HCPC.  

  • I have extensive experience working as an Educational and Child Psychologist in the following roles:

    • Educational Psychologist in public service in Northern Ireland.

    • Consulting Educational Psychologist on Special Educational Needs reform programmes in Northern Ireland.

    • Educational Psychologist for Statutory Assessments in various Local Authorities in England.

    • Expert witness in criminal law proceedings.  

  • I have made considerable contributions to the continued development of Educational and Child Psychology as a discipline including:

    • Conducting expansive research on Educational and Child Psychology, which has seen me in receipt of research awards from Queen’s University Belfast. 

    • Publishing peer-reviewed academic papers and book chapters on Educational and Child Psychology with 200+ citations from researchers and organisations across the globe. A full list of published titles can be found here.

    • Speaking at national and international conferences.

    • Delivering training and supervision to psychologists and doctoral trainees.

    • Guest lecturing at local universities.
